Our Process
COMPLIMENTARY DESIGN CONSULTATION
We begin with a meeting in your home so we can get to know each other and brainstorm together about your home’s unique potential. We’ll learn about your family and your lifestyle so we can tailor a design plan that is perfect for you.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Our design team will establish a creative direction for your project using key inspiration pieces that we present to you. We’ll also measure your home to create space plans that will guide furnishing selections and enable us to outline a budget. Once approved, this becomes the “road map” for your project.
MATERIALS AND FURNISHING SELECTION
Working with us gives you access to an incredible array of designer and bespoke resources from around the world, and at a variety of price points. From these we select and refine an assortment of furnishings to review together. (By the way, this is the really fun part… picking all the beautiful things!)
PURCHASING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Once selections are approved, we begin ordering your furnishings and materials. We track, receive and inspect every piece in our Redwood City facility. For new construction and remodels, we partner closely with contractors, visiting the site regularly, to make sure things run smoothly and according to plan.
INSTALLATION AND FINAL TOUCHES
We have our own team of professional installers that carefully execute every detail from furniture delivery to styling and art hanging. Our designers oversee the finishing touches that pull each room together, punctuating it with personality and style.
